Justice Paul Uuter Dery of the High Court and Gilbert Ayisi Addo have filed a writ demanding five reliefs including a declaration that the decision to put them on half salary was unconstitutional.

Joined in the suit are the Chief Justice and Attorney General.

The two judges are currently on suspension pending an enquiry into their conduct in the bribery allegations and have therefore been put on half salary.

They are however challenging that the decision to suspend parts of their salaries was unconstitutional.
