DDG Charitable Trust donates $6000 towards hole-in-heart boy's surgery
A Ghana-based India philanthropic society, the DDG Charitable Trust has donated US$6000 towards the surgery of a two-year-old boy who has a hole in heart condition.
Solomon Obeng is currently at the National Cardiothoracic Centre of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital being prepared for surgery.

He hails from Cape Coast in the Central Region and expected to undergo surgery in the first week of March 2020.
The DDG Charitable Trust is the brain-child of 10 Indian trustees who founded it to support social causes in Ghana and charitable works.
In 2018, the charity organisation paid a similar amount to help with the surgery of another child at The National Cardiothoracic Centre.
The cheque for the $6000 for Solomon Obeng's surgery has since been handed over to Dr Lawrence Sereboe, head of the cardio centre.
The presentation was made by four members of the charity Shyam Lakhwani, Ashok Amin, Neelesh Bhatia and Prakash Khanchandani.
Dr Sereboe after receiving the cheque thanked them and the Indian community in Ghana for the support.
