The hall will serve as a place for durbars, briefings, issuing and receiving of orders.

Handing over the project, the Corporate Affairs Manager of GREL, Mr Joseph Garbrah, commended 2BN for collaborating with the police in protecting the assets and investment made in the country.

The company, he said, was therefore obliged to also support the military in its operations.

According to him, rehabilitating the dilapidated conference hall gave the company an opportunity to show its gratitude to the military for their assistance and also contribute to the uplifting of the image of the Ghana Armed Forces.

Mr Garbrah said the company would continue to undertake more projects in its operational areas in line with its corporate social responsibility under its Group Sustainable Development Policy.

For his part, the Second in Command at 2BN, Major Jonathan Kumodor, said the military would continue to co-operate with all stakeholders to ensure that the peace in the country was maintained.
