Assin Fosu Nifahemaa lauded for helping needy
The Minister of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Mr Samuel Kofi Dzamesi, has lauded the Nifahemaa of Assin Fosu, Nana Appiantua IV, for helping needy but brilliant children in her area and beyond.

Mr Dzamesi made the comments when the Queen mother paid a courtesy call on him at his office to inform him of certain awards that she had won.
“God bless you and your good work. It is through your good works in your traditional areas and beyond that you have been recognized,’’Mr Dzamesi said.
Nana Appiantua IV who has a foundation that supports the education of needy but brilliant children was recently awarded an honory doctorate degree in humanity by the Academy of Universal Global Peace based in the United States of America (USA) for her humanitarian works.
She was also awarded three other awards of excellence for her works by the academy.
Receiving the queenmother, Mr Dzamesi said he was excited for the honour that had been bestowed on Nana Appiantua
“We are honoured that you have received these awards. The ministry is ready to provide you with all the necessary support for your work,’’ he said.
For her part, Nana Appiantua, appealed to the Ministry to provide more support for traditional authority to enable them to actively participate in the development process of the country.
