The constitutional committee is chaired by Mr Nelson Cofie, a legal practitioner and includes Mr Felix Quartey and Mr Bliss Amartei, (both legal practitioners) and Nii Quao Donkor II, Tsorno Onukpa.

The inauguration of the committees comes in the wake of moves to ensure unity and peace in the Asere division of the Ga State.

Swearing in the committees, the Asere Dzaasetse, Nii Amarkai III, charged the members of the committees to discharge the historic function assigned to them with a sense of mission and commitment.

That, he said, would help to enhance the peace and unity in the Asere Division, bearing in mind the central role the state plays in the Ga State.
