Ghana was not left out in the show. some Ghanaian women adorned in their kaba, supported by some male Ghanaians,  danced to highlife tunes to the admiration of all.

"We cannot afford to be left behind when women all over the world are struggling to rub shoulders with their male counterparts," she stated.

The Gabon Ambassador to China, Mr Jean-Robert Goulongana, who is the patron of the association, told members to use the association to create a space for sharing and solidarity among African women living in Beijing.

He also urged them to promote the rich African heritage to their Chinese friends to encourage them to visit the continent to boost tourism.
