13 Delta escapees turn themselves in - Chairman Wontumi

The 13 Delta Force escapees have turned themselves in to the Kumasi Central Police Command in the Ashanti Region after they were aided to run away from police custody in the aftermath of a Circuit Court hearing in connection with an earlier mayhem they perpetrated.

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Mr Bernard Antwi Boasiako said on Accra based Okay FM Friday morning.
He said all the accused persons turned themselves in on Thursday shortly after their other colleagues aided them to bolt.
He said they told the police they fled because they were scared for their lives.
