Two universities collaborate to expand ICT study
Established in November 2005 with the mission to be a centre of excellence in education, research, intellectual creativity and innovation, the GTUC is to promote cutting-edge technology, leadership development and an enterprise culture to enhance the delivery of value to society.
The Chancellor of the Guilin University of Technology, Prof. ZHANG Peng, said he believed that the co-operation of the universities would improve technology training.
The Guilin University of Technology, noted for its commitment to promoting and maintaining excellence in teaching, having natured large numbers of outstanding talents, especially in the development of the local economy, has identified the GTUC as one of the fastest growing cross cultural technology oriented educational centres with the same vision.
As well as having multicultural mix in the student body, the university, with excellent student support services, has been highlighting the international exchange and co-operative links with well-known universities and institutions overseas to secure peaceful learning environment, while enhancing technology.
With approximately 17,000 students studying a wide range of courses, the Guilin University offers 52 undergraduate and 35 post graduate programmes.
