The citation stated in conclusion “we give this to you as an appreciation for all your relentless efforts in contributing to the betterment of teacher education in Ghana. We are truly grateful for being there for us always.”

The President of the association, Mr Anthony Dadzie, who led a delegation of the executive members to pay a courtesy call on the minister at his office, commended Dr Prempeh for his leadership quality.

Welcoming the delegation, Dr Prempeh expressed gratitude to the executive members for the honour done him and  expressed the hope that the leadership skills they had gained during their tenure would aid them wherever they found themselves.

The executive members led the TTAG during the implementation of the teacher licensure programme and the national service scheme for graduates of colleges of education and held several engagements with the minister and his officials during this period.
