GES cautions against selling items on prospectus to Form One students
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has cautioned Heads of Second Cycle Schools to desist from selling items on the prospectus to Form One students who report to their schools for admission.

It also noted that some heads are selling free items that are supplied by the government to the student.
The GES said it takes strong exception to the development, “Management of the Ghana Education Service takes strong exception to this practice and wishes to state unequivocally that the practice is prohibited and must cease with immediate effect.", it cautioned.
It has also warned the Heads of Schools to stick to the approved harmonized prospectus for students, adding that "Any Head of School caught demanding any items(s) aside from the approved ones will be severely sanctioned".
A statement signed by the Acting Director for the Schools and Instructions Division, Prince Charles Agyemang-Duah said GES will soon commence investigations into the issues to ensure that the right things are done in the schools
