Dr. Amin supports 70 students in Karaga

The Member of Parliament for Karaga Constituency in the Northern region, Alhaji Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, affectionately known as 'Amin Anta' has pledged to continue to invest in the education of his constituents.

He made the remarks when he addressed a gathering of 70 students who are beneficiaries of the Anta Education Fund (AEF) and some members of his constituency at the constituency's district assembly hall in the Karaga.

Dr. Amin said education remained one of his key priorities, hence his resolve to assist brilliant but needy students in his constituency.

He said he had supported 33 students at different stages of tertiary education as well as supporting teaching staff in his constituency with 50 laptops as part of measures to enhance teaching and learning in the constituency.  

“It is my hope that through the opportunities from the AEF, the burden of not being able to fund academic logistics would be lifted off deserving students”, he added.
