Book on parenting launched in Accra
A book outlining the roles of parents and practical measures to aid them in raising their children in godliness has been launched in Accra. The 200-paged book, titled: “Parenting: Raising Godly Seed,” was authored by Mr Jones Boakye and published by Creative House Publication in Accra.

In an address at the Winners Chapel Ghana (WCG), Avenor, Accra, at the launch of the book, the National Executive Director of GHACOE Women’s Ministry, Mrs Comfort Lartey Ofori, said the book could guide parents to nurture their children to be morally upright.
She said the book could also be used to counsel people who intended to get married.
The first copy of the book was auctioned for GH¢2,000, while the second copy was sold for GH1,000

Launching the book, the General Overseer of WCG, Bishop George Adjeman, described the book as “a near perfect attempt to fill the vacuum to make easy the work of parents”.
“The book is a tool that will enhance the training of children,” he said.
Bishop Adjeman said it was necessary for parents to impart positive values to children to engender obedience from them, and encouraged parents and the youth to read the book.
The author, who is the head pastor of the Teens Church at WCG, said his motivation for writing the book was to help impart the knowledge of God to children through training.
He said the book covered various aspects of parenting, and impressed on every parent to buy a copy.
