APSU 94 raise funds for 2019 speech day projects

The 1994 year group of the St Augustine's Past Students Union (APSU) are hosting this year's annual fundraising event at Reggie Rockstones office at Cantonment to support the refurbishment and reconstruction of the schools dispensary, basketball and volleyball courts.

Dubbed "Aponkye K reloaded," the get-to-gether which is held every year, prior to the launch of the college's speech and prize giving day is expected to attract all old boys of the premier Catholic boys school.

Some of the key old boys expected to grace this years event are some senior APSUNIANS like Mr Hackman Owusu Agyeman, the board chairman of the Ghana Cocoa Board, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom of Groupe Nduom,  Lt Gen Arnold Quainoo, a former ECOMOG commander, Mr Ben Brako, a musician, Mr Kenneth Ashiegbey, Chief Executive of the Ghana Telecommunications Chamber, Ben Nunoo Mensah, a former senior prefect and President of the Ghana Olympic Committee and a former Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Prof Clifford Nii Boye Tagoe.

The 94-year group will be hosting a number of events including musical concerts and sports programmes to mobilise funds in collaboration with the steering committee and the national Executives of APSU for the 2019 Speech and Prize giving day scheduled to take place from 11th to 18th March 2019.
