In a message read on their behalf at the presentation, the siblings said the donation was in appreciation of the invaluable contribution the school made to their basic education.

The bus is to ensure the smooth transportation of students and teachers on educational tours, field trips and other school activities outside the school.

In an interview with the Daily Graphic after receiving the dummy key to the bus, the Assitant Director of the school, Yvette Brown expressed gratitude to the former students for the donation.

She also urged former students of the school including former Black Stars skipper Asamoah Gyan and musician Shatta Wale to emulate the benevolence of the Brown siblings by supporting the school.

This is the second time in three years that the Brown family has supported the school. In 2018, the family also presented a set of musical instruments to the school.
