Pyjamas parties are latest in town

Perhaps you even prefer to go to bed without any clothes on. Well, that is a matter of choice. Some people are very particular about what they wear to bed on daily basis, just like dressing for work.

This is where nighties and pyjamas come to play. Interestingly, some people only remember they have nightwear and pyjamas only when they are going for a date, camping or vacation.

In our part of the world, the weather can sometimes be very hot at night so if you don’t sleep under air-conditioning or fan, you might not love to wear pyjamas or nightie to bed.

The difference between a nightie and a pyjamas is that nightie (informal) is a woman's nightgown or nightdress; a dress-like garment worn to bed, while pyjamas are clothes we wear to bed and sleep in, usually consisting of a loose-fitting shirt and shorts/trousers.

Apart from going to bed in pyjamas, the latest craze in town is having a Pyjamas or Sleepover party. With pyjamas parties you invite your close friends who can probably pass the night at your end and have a birthday or bachelorette party.

At such parties, the guests are supposed to come dressed in their pyjamas. Certainly, with such parties, you don’t have to bother so much about getting new shoes, extreme makeups or an extraordinary hairdo.

Toothpaste, toothbrush and change over clothes to use the next day are important.

Currently, there are a lot of trendy pyjamas for both men and women. It can be your favourite football club, cartoon characters or colours of your choice.

The fabric can either be cotton or satin and the style can be shorts, skirt or trouser with a matching top. It all depends on what makes you feel comfortable to sleep at night.
