She ascended the throne in April, 2022 and has since been the active queen whose royal roles have all been evidently geared towards empowering women and girls to attain sterling development and educational heights.

After all, she is a role model, so far as human values and achievements are concerned.

The queen has already organised a general health screening for more than 200 people, an eye test for 150 others and breast cancer examination for more than 100, all at no cost to the beneficiaries.

She recently led a team from the palace to donate a consignment of medications to the Ho Municipal Directorate of Health.

The hardworking queen is also on record for her immense support of public motivational lectures.

When The Mirror engaged her at Ho-Bankoe in a chat recently, she said her passion was for humanitarian work.

In pursuance of that, the married mother of two has taken over the DA Foundation, a philanthropic organisation which was set up by her husband to help more people in need.

Known in private life as Angela Atachie, the queen also supports organisations such as the Lions Club in their activities to serve humanity.

Born on October 2, 1985, the product of OLA Senior High School, Ho, studied Political Science at the University of Ghana,Legon and graduated in 2008. Afterwards, she did her national service at the legal department of the Ministry of Finance, in Accra.

She later enrolled at the University of Ghana Law Faculty for the Bachelors of Laws (LLB) programme and was called to the Bar in 2013.

TM: How do you combine all these roles?

Mama Bobi: Hmmm. Prior to becoming queen, my focus was on my job and my family. But I have since adjusted and organised myself and my time for the various roles.

TM: Do you still have enough time for your family?

Mama Bobi: I have a very supportive, loving and understanding husband who shares all the ‘burdens’ at home with me and makes things much lighter for me.

TM: You became very active immediately you were made a queen without taking any rest after your enstoolment. How are you coping?

Mama Bobi: I believe the role of a leader is to impact the lives of others positively, and in my case, I am highly concerned about education and communal activities, particularly for women and girls, to enhance their quality of life. The foundation I took up from my husband made it easier for me to hit the ground running.

Mama Bobi: I am a terrific driver on the road.

TM: Which other languages do you speak apart from English?

Mama Bobi: Ewe and appreciable Twi.

TM : What are your plans for next year?

Mama Bobi: To involve more women in community service, equip them with skills and ensure that every girl in Asogli goes to school with utmost seriousness.
