Nestlé Ghana Ltd officially launched the CERELAC Akyɛdeɛ Pa ("The Good Gift") Promotion on August 21, 2026, at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.
This milestone campaign marks the first-ever national consumer promotion for the CERELAC brand in Ghana.
It is designed to express gratitude to mothers, caregivers, and families who have relied on the brand for generations.
The lively and exciting beachfront event, hosted by the ever-vibrant Crystal Kwame Aryee of TV3 fame, brought together families, management and staff of Nestlé Ghana for a memorable celebration.
The event began with children showcasing their talents through singing, dancing, and fun pick-and-act games, creating an atmosphere of joy and excitement. Families and staff also had the opportunity to bond and enjoy together.
The launch ended on a delightful note with a photo session, refreshing drinks, and an assortment of delicious dishes shared among guests.
Rewarding loyalty
Speaking at the launch, Category Manager for Nutrition and Powdered Milk at Nestlé Ghana Ltd., said Kwabena Adaakwa the campaign is positioned as a thank-you to mothers, caregivers and families who have trusted CERELAC as part of their children’s complementary feeding journey over the years.
Beyond nutrition, he said the promotion aims to reward consumer loyalty with prizes that provide practical value and memorable experiences.
Key rewards
He mentioned that key rewards include instant cash and mobile-money rewards for participating consumers and educational scholarships to help families support their children’s education and future.

Additionally, there will be two all-expenses-paid trips to Mauritius, covering travel, accommodation and experiences for winning families.

She stated that CERELAC is produced in Ghana, with key ingredients such as maize sourced locally, alongside locally sourced packaging materials and other inputs.
This, she said, makes CERELAC a brand that contributes to Ghana’s local value chain and economy.

Mrs Kwablah also emphasized that CERELAC is fortified with both macronutrients and essential micronutrients, including iron and vitamins, to support the nutritional needs and development of children from six months and above.
She also encouraged parents and caregivers of children under five to continue patronising CERELAC, stressing its nutritional value and Ghanaian production.
