President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Dankwa turned 77 last Monday, March 29, 2021.
As usual, duty took him out of Ghana to Madrid in Spain to participate in the “Focus Africa 2023” Conference where he wooed the Spanish business community to Ghana.

He returned to Ghana and on Tuesday, undertook a number of activities including the swearing into office of the new Minister of Finance, Mr Ken Ofori-Atta for his second term.
On Wednesday, he equally undertook other assignments including the handing over of 40 armoured vehicles to the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) and the launch of new funding for the Global Fund in Ghana.
He returned to the Jubilee House, the seat of government to meet a surprise birthday cake organised for him by the Vice President, Chief of Staff, senior government officials, and staff at the Office of the President.
President Akufo-Addo wrote on Facebook: "Later in the day, the Vice President, Chief of Staff, senior government officials, and staff at the Office of the President surprised me with a birthday cake for my 77th birthday."
