She is svelte, tall, lanky and struts the runway lithely and smoothly like a feline and her name is Mawuse Sunu, a Level 100 student of fashion and Design at the BlueCrest University College.
Although, modelling was never one of her dreams, Mawuse exudes nothing but a confident panache of a supermodel whenever she hits the catwalk.
Talking to Showbiz on Monday, Mawuse said she didn't actually envision herself pursuing a career in modelling.
"I never imagined, not even in my wildest dreams that I would be involved in modeling today", she said.
According to the young model who has a height of 5ft.10, she entered into modelling at her aunt's behest. Her aunt took her to Exopa Model Agency for catwalk classes.
After practising for a while, Mawuse mounted the runway for the first time in October 2015 at Citi FM's Expressions of Accra show and since then she has been part of runway shows in the country.
"I was so nervous on my first day on the runway, but surprisingly I walked well. The feeling was so good afterwards," she recalled.
She also added that, "I'm currently studying Fashion and Design, and it has made modeling easier for me since I understand what the designer expects from me as a model."
Finally, when asked by this reporter where she sees herself in the near future, the native of Alavanyo-Deme in the Volta Region of Ghana said she hopes to become a luminary in the fashion industry in Ghana.
"My dream is to become one of the biggest fashion brands in Ghana," Mawuse said.
