Do you remember we mentioned at the beginning of the year that shades of yellow are going to be trending this year? Yes! One of them is marigold. If you are not a lover of flowers you might be aware that the beautiful touch of yellow and orange flower you have been seeing is called marigold.

Marigold is a plant from the daisy family with yellow, orange, or copper-brown flowers, cultivated as an ornamental. Apart from being an important part of any organic garden as a pest deterrent, the marigold has several attributes.

The use of gold as a colour term in traditional usage is more often applied to the colour "metallic gold".

The colour gold represents success, achievement and triumph. It is likewise associated with abundance and prosperity, luxury and quality, prestige and sophistication, value and elegance, the psychology of this colour implies affluence, material wealth and extravagance.

 

 

If your favourite colour is gold, it will certainly reflect in your personality and the kind of accessories, shoes and bags you would love to be wearing for events. Imagine combining gold with marigold for a wedding or decorations at home. It would simply look elegant.
