UGARS Basic School gets help

Naa Maneh Foundation has presented various educational items such as classroom furniture, boxes of chalk, exercise books, pencils, sharpeners, erasers, slates and school bags to the Kindergarten one (KG1) pupils of UGARS Basic School in the Denkyembour District of the Eastern Region.

Hitherto, the pupils of the school shared furniture with KG2 pupils of the school.

Speaking during the donation, the founder of Foundation, Ms Lilian Naa Norley Mensah, said the mission of the Foundation is to assist deprived schools in the country with educational materials to aid their smooth learning as the future leaders.

“A significant means to promote quality education and effective learning in our country is access to proper school materials.“

“Our vision is to provide comfortable furniture that will contribute in making our educational institutions a safe, pleasant and productive place for both pupils and teachers,” she said.
