West Ridge win Milo U-13 trophy
West Ridge International School was crowned champions of the second edition of the Milo under 13 Champions League after defeating Offinso Amoawi 4-3 on penalties last Saturday.

The two teams gave a good account of themselves in regulation time but it was Kasoa-based West Ridge that triumphed over the Ashanti side in a game that was witnessed by some ex-Black Stars players, officials from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ghana Education Service, and the GFA, among other instituitions.
The three-day Nestle Ghana-sponsored event attracted particpants from various schools across the 10 regions of the country who qualified from the zonal competitions to play in the grand finale.
Players who distinquished themselves in the competition were presented with individual awards. Issah Hussein from the West Ridge International won the golden ball award, with Desmond Boakye, Ganihu Fuseini from the Amoawi Methodist Primary and Ernest Awuah from the Bepong Methodist Primary winning the silver and bronze balls respectively.
