Tower of Glory Junior Choir inaugurated

The Tower of Glory (ToG) Junior Choir of the Baptist International Church has been inaugurated at a ceremony in Accra.

The choir, which has18 members, was formed to develop the musical talents of the children.

Pastors, church members and some parents of the young choristers attended the ceremony.

Speaking to the Junior Graphic, a member of the Church Management Council (CMC), Mr Isaac Baah, said that the choir was formed by the CMC to enable the church to tap into the talents of the children.

According to him, the council noticed that when the children attended church services, all they did was to listen to the Word of God, pray and leave for their houses.

Mr Baah said most of the children were talented and had skills which were needed in the church to draw more souls to the Lord.

He indicated that the council would set up a scholarship scheme to support the children as they went to senior high schools and urged parents to show support for their children by nurturing their talents in whatever way they could.
