The first batch of boarding students are housed in a three-storey girls’ dormitory meant to accommodate 400 students.

Another three-storey facility meant to accommodate about 400 boys is nearing completion.

During a visit to the school recently, staff assigned the responsibility of providing food for the students were seen busily preparing lunch for the students.

The second floor of the dormitory has well-laid bunk beds with the belongings of the students in the facility.

At lunchtime, the students who rushed to a portion of the dormitory that is being used as a  temporary dining hall, told the Daily Graphic that they were excited at being accommodated in the boarding house.

According to them, commuting from their homes to and from Okpoi Gonno every day was stressful and expensive.
