Nipanekro D/A Primary School gets support

Members of the Searchlight Africa Foundation, a Belgium-based charity organisation, in a group photograph with pupils of the Nipanekro D/A Primary School at Subin Dunkwa in the Ashanti Region after they presented educational materials to the school.

The items, which included story books, pens, pencils, rulers, among others formed part of the foundations goals to reach out to the needy and deprived communities in order to help promote academic performance, as well as boost their confidence.

Making the presentation, Ms Jesse Sunkwa-Mills, a member of the foundation said the group also aimed to support the vulnerable and disadvantaged children in rural communities in the country.

She said during their interaction with school authorities, they mentioned some of their problems to be lack of infrastructure and classroom furniture.
