Josephine, Janel Shine in Bookworm Season 7 Finals

Josephine Addai from Republic School in Kasoa and Janel Cudjoe from St Martins de Porres in West Hills have emerged as the winners in their respective categories in this year's Bookworm Season 7 reality show, held at the GNAT Hall in Adabraka, Accra. 

They demonstrated impressive skills in the Upper and Lower primary categories, respectively, to the admiration of the audience.

Jordan Annobil from Rising Star in Teshie came in second place, while Vanessa Annor from Eli’s International in Ashaiman was the second runner-up. 

In the Lower primary category, Nana Esi from Mother Care School in Berma Camp, Accra emerged as the first runner-up, and Aliya Muntaka from Young Juniors School in Ashington, Accra finished in third position.

The winners received certificates and cases of Planet drinks for their outstanding efforts. 

Reverend Nelson Kofi Poku, the founder of the Bookworm Reality Show, expressed his delight at the success of the initiative, which was started during the COVID-19 pandemic to engage young people at home. 

He called on corporate Ghana to support the project and expand it to other regions.
