A former Deputy Director of Education at the Ga West Education Municipality, Mrs Paulina Sakyi-Adinkra, who gave the advice, said that would enable children to become useful to themselves and the society in the future.

“Providing quality education for children will help them grow to be self-sufficient when they are adults,” she explained.

She said education was an important tool for the development of any society and added that all educators needed to do was to provide a sound teaching and learning environment for pupils.

Touching on the history of the school, the Headmistress, Mrs Joyce Poku, said the school was established in 2014 with two children, however, the population had increased to 23 pupils with five teachers.

According to her, the goal of the school was to train children to help develop all their abilities by nurturing them in the spirit, soul and body.

Mrs Opoku encouraged parents to assist their children to do all their homework always.

Prizes were awarded to some pupils for their excellent academic performance.
