Early Days Preschool holds graduation

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Vice Chairman of the Okaikoi Central Constituency, Mr Francis Bebobru, has advised parents to train their children well to prevent them from going wayward.

He explained that parents being the first tutors of children should know that the best way to train their children was to be constantly in touch with them, monitor what they do in and out of school as well as know the friends they move with.

Mr Bebobru was speaking at the graduation ceremony of the Early Days Preschool at Tesano in Accra.

The theme for the ceremony was : “The Role of Parents in Children’s Education’’. In all, a total of 18 pupils graduated from the school.

The NPP Vice Chairman for the Okaikoi Central Constituency stressed the need for parents to give their children the necessary support so that they would perform well in school by assisting them with their homework always.

‘’Let’s help in the upbringing of children because they are the future leaders,’’ he added.

The Proprietress of the school, Mrs Charlotte Tachie-Menson, advised the school children to keep up with the good work so that they would perform well in the new schools they would be admitted to.

She congratulated the pupils and encouraged them to uphold the good values they had learnt in the school.

The graduands were presented with certificates while the Overall Best Pupil was awarded a prize.

During the ceremony, the pupils entertained their parents, teachers and invited guests with varied performances such as choreography displays, poetry recitals, drama and performances by the cadet corps.
