The PTA Chairman of the Christian Preparatory School at Bunso, Kumasi, Alhaji Ibn Ibrahim, has stressed the need for parents to partner with schools to provide the needed logistics for their children to boost teaching and learning.
He said the development and improvement of education should not only be the responsibility of teachers, but must be a shared concern for parents, teachers, the government and other stakeholders in education.
Alhaji ibn Ibrahim who was speaking at the 12th graduation ceremony of 80 pupils of the school called on the government to extend some support to private schools to enrich the development of education in the country.
He said because private schools were partners in the development of education in the country there was the need to assist them to provide quality education to schoolchildren.
Certificates and awards were presented to deserving pupils.
