The Assistant Priest of the St Mary’s Anglican Church in Accra, Rev. Father Christopher Armah, has advised children not to give up when they face challenges at school but to continue to persevere.
He said children of God would by all means face challenges in life but they should remember that God is always there to solve their problems.
Rev. Father Armah said as schoolchildren, some might have difficulties in a subject at school or even their end of term examination report but they should not lose hope and continue to work hard.
He said no child should drop out of school or abandon his or her dream when things became difficult. He entreated the children to do away with laziness and strive to work hard because hard work pays.
Rev. Father Armah was addressing Sunday School children during a week-long camp meeting in Accra. The camp brought together Sunday School children from 103 churches in the Accra Diocese of the Anglican Church.
This year’s camp was also the 20th anniversary of the programme. It was on the theme: ‘Jesus, My Firm Foundation’.
