Rwanda sends humanitarian aid to Gaza
Rwanda has sent a shipment of humanitarian aid to support Gaza, which has been heavily affected by the ongoing conflict with Israel, the Rwandan government announced on Thursday.
The relief, which includes food, medicines, and medical supplies, was delivered in collaboration with Jordan.

According to a statement from Rwanda’s Foreign Ministry, the aid was received by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization in Amman and consists of 19 tons of essential items, including fortified food for children, medicines, and medical consumables.
“The donation supports ongoing international relief efforts,” the ministry stated, adding that Rwanda advocates for an end to the conflict and the protection of civilian lives.
Since a Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, Israel has conducted extensive military operations in Gaza, leading to widespread destruction and severe shortages of food and essential supplies. Over 43,000 people have been killed, leaving the enclave on the brink of uninhabitability.
Meanwhile, Israel faces a case at the International Court of Justice over allegations of genocide in the Gaza Strip.
