“I wanted to be calm and ready when I claimed it,” Do said in a statement.
“I got a lot of pleasure knowing I had a million-dollar ticket somewhere safe.”
Now, Do says he plans to INVEST some of that money in a retirement fund “to help give me some more free time.”
News of Do’s million-dollar secret comes one day after another Albertan struck it rich.
Edmonton’s Donald Owen won $2 million in the Jan. 10 Western 649 draw.
“The clerk thought it was $200,000,” he said in a statement, “but when I put my glasses on and counted the zeroes, I realized it was $2 million.”
He plans on spending some of his winnings on new furniture.
