Nigeria: Rival cult kills man, girlfriend
A 21-year-old level 200 student of Geography, Benue State University (BSU), Makurdi, Solomon Aondoaseer and his 20-year-old girlfriend, Doofan Agbaja, have been killed by members of a rival cult group in Makurdi.

The police public relations officer, Moses Yamu, who confirmed the killings, said the late Aondoaseer was said be a member of the red Viper cult while their killers belong to the Black Axe cult.
According to the Police PRO, the killers who had been arrested, confessed that they actually committed the crime.They include Paul Adum aka Reborn; Terkumbur Gber aka Shanke; Teryila Aondona aka Nasco; Thaddeus Ukaaku aka Waters and Damian Swem aka Dammy.
In another development two out of 3 suspects that robbed one Ato Akperan last month at gunpoint when trying to withdraw money from ATM machine at along Otukpo, were apprehended by the police while trying to sell the vehicle in Abuja.
ASP Yamuna, who also confirmed the arrest, said those arrested include Philip Ikya and Emmanuel Shaoube, while the police are still trailing the third person.
