Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin handed Black Meteors job

Former Black Starlets coach, Paa Kwesi Fabin, has been appointed as the head coach of national Under-23 side, Black Meteors.

He takes over from Coach Ibrahim Tanko who failed to qualify the team to the Olympic Games during their qualifier in Egypt in 2019.

Fabin who exited the national Under-17 side after the team were eliminated in the quarter finals of the 2017 World Cup in India will be returning to the national duties once more.

The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko trainer will be assisted by Akapko Patron with veteran former national goalie, Ben Owu will work as the goalkeepers’ trainer.

Andrew Ayim will be the team doctor for the Black Meteors with Albert K. Evedzi expected to be the Physiotherapist.

Ex-Hearts of Oak player maker, Ablade Kumah will be the welfare Officer of the team with Emmanuel Opoku as the Equipment officer.
