Rejoinder: Young Maths prodigy stranded in Accra

I am Mr. Kwadwo Gyan-Darkwa, a senior high school tutor at Prempeh College, Kumasi, Ashanti Region and Ruth Ama Gyan-Darkwa is my daughter.

The story originally published by Rosalind Amo (a.k.a Eno Korama) of Graphic Sports on 1st September, 2022 in the Daily Graphic (Page
28) which stated that Ruth was stranded in Accra is a misrepresentation.
As a result, I write to refute the publication about my daughter which was the content of the publication titled, "Young Maths Prodigy Stranded in Accra" and further published in different forms across media including Graphic Online, yen.com and some other social media platforms.
Furthermore, I wish to emphatically clarify that my daughter by God's Grace is not stranded, and most of the issues mentioned in the publication are misrepresented.
Ruth is currently at a University in the United States of America for a Master's program in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
I would like to extend my profound gratitude to Dr. Marek Osinski, Dr. Dominic Bosomtwi, Hon. Otiko Afisah Djaba, Mr. Kofi Appiah-Gyekye, and all others who have had Ruth's best interest at heart and made it possible for her to embark on her master's program this year.
This is a record for Ghana and we are grateful for the opportunity for Ruth to lift the flag of Ghana higher in the pursuit of furthering her education.
Please retract Rosalind Amos's story with immediate effect. Thank you.
