4-storey Nyaniba Estates building not in accord with regulatory, safety requirements
Since February 2023, my family has been engaging three state institutions on the building of a four-storey commercial property, near our house.

The institutions are the State Housing Corporation, the La Dadekotopon Municipal Assembly and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The building under construction is very close and runs against the wall of our property at Nyaniba Estates, GL 0308074.
However, as the engagements were ongoing, the builders rather sped up the construction works.
The 3-storey Mall behind which construction being done
There is already a three-storey mall on the same plot of land.
A few years ago, there was fire on this property and my family, and I felt the heat in our compound.
The structure sits like a sentry post along our fence, making it easy for anyone to enter our compound.
Also, the construction blocks breeze into our home; its placement makes it also difficult for fire trucks to manoeuvre if there is a fire in our house.
We hope those responsible will act when they read this letter.
