Worship show at the Gym
In his quest to make it stand out among other Gospel shows, Pastor Stephen Biney Bennywood and his Bennywood Gym team will host a one day Gospel worship show dubbed Worship Gym.

Worship Gym under the theme The Lord Reigns is set to take place on Sunday, August 27 at Exhibition Assemblies of God, Dansoman at 5pm.
According to Pastor Bennywood, since the gym is a place where people go to exercise and burn fat with the hope of gaining strength and living a healthy life, it was the right name for the show as it intends to make patrons fit with the word of God.
“As the gym is a place where you go to exercise all in the name of keeping fit, so will patrons of the show come, sing, pour out their supplications in the form of worship with the hope of living a life worthy of God and gaining strength spiritually,” he said in an interview with Showbiz.
“We are talking about practical worship, where you worship till all inhibitions are removed. Worship serves as an indication of adoration, humility and submission to God which we all need in our lives as time goes on,” he continued.
In an answer to why people need to attend, he said, “As a Christian, you cannot take worship out of your life, it will be a great experience, we are going to fortify our spirits with the Holy Ghost and our lives are going to change for the better.”
Pastor Bennywood is a pastor of Assemblies of God Church at Olebu-Ablekuma and currently studying at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. He has been singing since age 11 and it has become part of his ministry for the past 14 years.
“I feel that I have been called to add content to the body of Christ as far as worship is concerned so I'm expecting that my songs will become household songs,” he added.
