Shatta Wale, Sarkodie nominated for EMY Awards
The maiden edition of Exclusive Men of the Year Award Africa, aimed at honouring and celebrating men of excellence, is scheduled for June 28, at the Banquet Hall, State House.

Celebrities for the Entertainer of the Year category are musicians Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and E L, actors Adjetey Annang and Kalybos and poet, Chief Moomin.
Contesting the Man of the Year - Communication are Ameyaw Debrah, Kwami Sefa Kayi, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, Manasseh Azure Awuni and Kwabena Anokye Adisi (Bola Ray).
Personalities contesting for the Ultimate Man of the year award are Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom of Groupe Nduom, Osei Kwame Despite of Despite Group of Companies, Dr Kwabena Duffour of Honda Group and Togbe Afede of Asogli State Council.
Gifty Afenyi Dadzie of Women Aglow international, Dr Joyce R. Aryee of Salt and Light Ministries, Mrs Elizabeth Joyce Villas of Camelot Ghana Ltd and Dr Beatrice Wiafe- Breast Care International are in competition for the Ultimate Woman award.
Other categories include Business Man of the Year, Man of the Year-Governance, Style Award of the Year and Sportsman of the Year.
In an interview with the Daily Graphic, Kojo Rana, organiser of the event said the awards, expected to attract personalities from sports, politics and the entertainment arena, would be one of the biggest events to be held in Ghana.
He pleaded with the general public to vote for their favourite celebrity on short code 1413 across all networks. He added that fans of those personalities would have to type EMY and the name of the category to short code 1413.
