Paapa Yankson, Yaayaa for EMY Awards
It is a night to celebrate outstanding men for their contribution to the society and at the Banquet Hall, State House this Saturday, Yaayaa and Paapa Yankson will thrill patrons at the Exclusive Men of the Year Awards.

It’s been a long time highlife artiste, Paapa Yankson performed at an event and his scheduled “showdown” at Saturday’s event is expected to be spectacular. The event would also be in honour of fathers.
With many songs from his repertoire, Tena Me Nkyen, Okukuseku, Kokroko, Ebei, Wogye W’enyaado and Woara Akofa Aba, Paapa Yankson has won the hearts of many Ghanaians with his songs and there is no doubt that it will be another exciting time for patrons when he mounts the stage.
Yaayaa is undoubtedly one of the best female vocal performers on the Ghanaian music scene and the 2009 Stars of the Future winner has always had her way of warming the hearts of patrons with her performance.
With songs such as Dumb Drum, Kai, Adom, Madesoa, Me Boafuo, Nkunim and Nyame, she will have the audience on her side.
In an interview with Showbiz on Monday, Kojo Rana, organiser of the event said his outfit decided to honour fathers because they play a significant role at home and in the society.
“Fathers are not usually celebrated like mothers but our outfit believes fathers also contribute to making sure the house is secured. More so, the award scheme recognises men whose passion and commitment has rolled out major landmarks in the progress and development of the country”, he said.
Celebrities for the Entertainer of the Year category are musicians Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and E L, and actors Adjetey Annang and Kalybos and poet, Chief Moomin.
