Okyeame Kwame to thrill fans at Citi FM Family Day Out

He has endeared himself to many not just by what he does in music circles but his role as a family man.

It is not surprising that hip life artiste, Okyeame Kwame, will be the main attraction on Monday, May 26, when the Citi FM Family Day Out comes off at the Rufus Green Park at Katamanso on the Dodowa road.

His mostly love themed songs such as Woara and Faithful will fill the air as Okyeame aka Rap Dacta, according to the organisers, will bring out his family side as he gives pep talks on how to develop and maintain family bond.

Urbanisation and office schedules have no doubt had a toll on the quality of time people spend together as a family and as such, the Family Day Out is expected to create that rare opportunity to renew family bonds through socialisation.

The event, which is expected to draw in hundreds of holiday-makers, will climax the Citi FM Family Month which started off earlier this month.

An official of the event, Kojo Boateng, said apart from music, there would be interesting indoor and outdoor games such as karaoke, poetry, charades, soccer, chess, ludo, musical chairs, treasure hunt, video games, among others. 

“As a family man who has had five years of marriage life, Okyeame Kwame feels elated to be part of the Citi FM Family Day Out. 

“ It will be an opportunity for him not only to meet and entertain hundreds of families and fans but also share useful tips on family issues through entertainment”, he added.
