MTN Ghana Stands in Worship here again

Renowned American gospel singer,  Micah Stampley is set to take Ghana by storm when he takes his turn as the headline act at this year’s MTN Ghana Stands In Worship Concert scheduled for coming Saturday, August 27 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Touted as the biggest national worship event, the 6pm show promises to be exciting and full of worship as the Holiness singer will be joined by Nigeria’s gospel musician, Nathaniel Bassey of Imela fame and South African organist and Zulu gospel singer, Benjamin Dube.

The nation’s finest gospel musicians will not be left out as the legendary Elder Mireku, Ceccy Twum and Joe Mettle will also be present to lead patrons through a time of worship. A special tribute to late contemporary Ghanaian gospel musician, Danny Nettey who was earlier slated to perform at the concert will also be read. Various choirs from selected churches will also be on hand as well.

Sponsored by MTN and organised by Imajin Advertising, MTN Ghana Stands in Worship since its inception in 2013, has brought together over 20,000 patrons in an unforgettable worship experience with the likes of Donnie McClurkin (USA), William McDowell (USA), Sinach (Nigeria) , Mthunzi Namba (South Africa) , Uche Agu (Nigeria) gracing the stage in previous editions.

This year’s event, the fourth in the series, is themed, “ To seek the face of the Lord towards free and fair elections”. The concert is also aimed at celebrating 20 years of MTN in Ghana.
