The dome of the Golden Bean Hotel in Kumasi will host the second edition of the Ashanti Regional MTN Choral Festival of praise and worship on Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016.
The mobile telephony giants would be hosting their patrons and partners to a night of praise and worship to thank God for how far He has brought them.
According to the organisers, MTN, the festival which will feature a host of artistes to minister the word of God to patrons “promises to be one in a life time.”
Notable among the artistes lined up to thrill at the event are Ohemaa Mercy, Brother Sammy, Ernest Opoku and OJ.
Throwing more light on the event, Corporate Affairs department at MTN, Ms Georgina Asare Fiagbenu, said in addition to the artistes, the Family Chapel Choir and the Celestial Evangel Choir, who are fast establishing their names as choirs to be reckoned with in the region will also be in the house.
Last year’s programme was nearly marred by the unstable power supply.
Although the Dome was connected to a generator set, the power kept tripping and as a result stalled the programme for almost an hour, forcing some patrons to leave before the end of the programme.
However, Ms Georgina Asare Fiagbenu, said this year’s programme would not suffer a set back. “MTN and the hotel have put things in place to ensure an incident free night of worship and praise”, she said.
She added that the festival was the company’s way of saying ‘thank you’ to its numerous clientele and partners for doing business with it.
