Lydia Forson, others for Celebrity-Orphanage Easter Funfair

A select group of actors, musicians, radio and television presenters and fashion designers will be special guests at an event dubbed ‘Celebrity-Orphanage Easter Funfair’ on Monday, April  17 at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park in Accra.

Organised by  the Class Media Group (CMG), in partnership with the Children’s Welfare Department of the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, the programme aims to bring cheer  and raise funds for children in some orphanages in Accra.

 The special guests expected at the programme  include  actors Lydia Forson, Nana Ama McBrown, Luckie Lawson, John Dumelo and Kisa Gbekle.

The musicians coming along include Asabea Cropper, Kwame A Plus, SP Kofi Sarpong and  Joyce Blessing.

The fashion designers include Pearl Amoah and Elikem Kumordzi.

 A statement from the Class Media Group said there would be a variety of games for the children with performances by the various artistes as well as free medical screening and donations to the selected orphanages:  Potters Village, Chosen Home and  Teshie Orphanage.
