Ebo Whyte brings new play

Prolific writer, Ebo Whyte is keeping to his promise to bring out a new play every three or four months and his latest output is called Games Men Play.

Like other Ebo Whyte plays, this new one feeds on characters easily recognisable in our setting.  Games Men Play will be at the National Theatre on May 24, May 25, May 31 and on June 1.

The new work is appropriately tailored for this period when the whole world is beginning to go crazy over football.

Fans of the game would easily make out elements of stress, undermining assistants and scheming girlfriends when they see the play.

Ebow Whyte’s Roverman Productions Company has managed to make theatre accessible to many in recent years.

Their plays such as  What’s My Name?, The Last Flight, Apartment N1 and several others  have been patronised by people who do not consider themselves as regular lovers of theatre and that’s a big plus for Roverman.

The expectation is that Games Men Play would also raise issues and excite patrons as much as the previous Ebo Whyte plays.

The latest work will show at 4.00pm and 8.00pm on the stated dates.
