Bernard Amankwah hosts another Celebration concert

For the past eight years, gospel artiste, Bernard Amankwah’s passion of giving lovers of gospel music a platform to come together in praise and worship has been achieved through his annual Celebration of His Grace concert and this year’s will be no different.


The Rescue Me artiste, who will be joined by other gospel acts including OJ, Rev. Thomas Yawson, Gwendolyn and Tyra says he is ready to feed patrons to some “soul inspiring” songs at the event scheduled for Sunday, September 20, at the National Theatre.

Speaking with Showbiz last week on the concert which has in the past years drawn performances from some notable gospel artistes and groups such as Cynthia of Daughters of Glorious Jesus fame and Alabaster Box, Bernard said this year will also feature another “big name” in the gospel industry.

“This artiste is one of the legends on the gospel music scene and I know patrons will be captivated by her performance,” he stated.

Since 2007 when the first edition of the Celebration of His Grace concert was launched, it has provided the means to bring Christians together to praise their Maker, and Bernard told Showbiz that the concert has been a “life changing” experience for many of its patrons.

  “There have been many testimonies from this concert and they inspire me each year to organise the show since it brings many good tidings with it”.

Apart from patrons being thrilled to good gospel songs, they will also be privy to the official launch of Bernard’s latest and sixth album titled I’m Redeemed. Some of his other albums are His Presence, Almighty and Mercy Rescue Me.This year’s Celebration of His Grace concert is being sponsored by National Theatre, Innolink Security & Printing house, Innovates Company, Special Soft Drinks, Safe Bond Africa, IS Ghana , New Professional Audio Systems and Graphic Communications Group Ltd.
