Wutah Kobby releases new song on birthday

Today, December 21, is the birthday of Wutah Kobby and to mark the celebration, the Ambulance singer has released a new song titled Kappa (Wope Dodo) as a birthday present to his fans,

The highlife piece according to Wutah Kobby is his birthday package to his fans for the support given him since going solo.

The song which was produced by Appietus talks about the need for partners to trust themselves in a relationship.

“There is no perfect companionship or marriage and I bet that most people wish they can satisfy their partners but there have always been trust issues. That has contributed to the breakdown of many successful unions,” he stated.

Wutah Kobby sings about the need for partners to appreciate each other regardless of the troubles that might confront them in the relationship.

“There is no perfect relationship, it’s the individuals who make it attractive and that is what Wope Dodo preaches,” he stated.

To better narrate his story, the Endless Love artiste would also release the video of the song which was directed by Shaggy of Seers Communication today.

Real name, Daniel N. Morris, Kobby shot to fame as a member of the duo Wutah  group in 2004 when they released their debut album, Burning Desire. Big Dreams, one of the songs on the album earned them the Reggae Song of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards in 2005.

Going solo after a group’s split has always posed a great challenge to the parties involved especially when they are expected to keep up with the great works that they have been known for but Kobby believes he is still vibrant on the music scene.

He released his debut solo album, Gold and Love which had songs such as Tsotsoo, Chiochio, Ambulance, Pii Por Pii, Father For All, Love of My Life, and Burning Desire.
