Wisa, who is currently signed on to Black Avenue record label, owned by D-Black, has been working very hard to make up for the lost time and last Saturday, the Ekiiki Me artiste joined a number of performers from other countries to entertain patrons at the Bergen International Festival in Norway.

As the only artiste from Ghana and Africa, Wisa said he did his best to represent the continent well performing his hit songs like One Side, Mintse Bo, Your Cocoa, Mi Sumo Bo, Slow Motion and Ekiki Mi.

He tells Showbiz it was a good experience. “It was a good feeling to see people who don’t understand your lyrics just dancing to the beats.

It showed that music is a universal language and not restricted to a particular group of people.”

He said he also interacted with the people about Ghanaian music and he was impressed by their responses.

“For me, it showed how far my music had gone. I knew I had great songs but the way the whites jammed to my music was amazing,” he said.

Wisa Greid will be back in Norway on Friday, November 3, to support dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale to perform at the same festival.

The duo is expected to thrill the audience at another concert in Oslo on November 4.

Back home, his management is preparing to premiere his new song titled I Miss You with a video featuring highlife artiste Bisa Kdei.

The song was produced by DJ Breezy and video was shot and directed by Jeneral Jay.
