The second edition of the Wildaland festival was scheduled for Monday, December 26-27, 2022 at the Shai Resource Reserve.

As such, protocols to ensure refunds for tickets purchased has already started with organisers reaching out to ticket holders for a refund.

Earlier this year, the festival announced its Eco-Action Fan Village as well as a series of activities meant to raise climate change awareness among young people and event attendants consistent with the festival’s commitment to a clean climate future.

Apart from the explanation of “circumstances beyond their control,” the organisers were yet to name other challenges for calling off the show at the time of filing this report.

The first edition of Wildaland Festival was held in December last year with performances from Nigeria’s Davido as the headline artiste.

Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Black Sherif, Kidi, Kuami Eugene, Adekunle Gold, Gyakie, Focalistic among others also thrilled revellers with their performances.
