A traditional food bazaar to showcase some of the delectable foods unique to the Volta Region is one of the events slated to help raise funds for the Keta Hospital tomorrow, April 30, at a charity programme at the Aborigine’s Beach Resort at Keta.
The Keta Homecoming Group, a non-profit organisation comprising indigenes of Keta, its surrounding areas and friends from across Ghana, is organising the event which will also incorporate a jamboree and other fun-filled activities from 9:00a.m. to 3.00p.m.
The versatile Zuum Band, led on guitar by Chris Turkson, will then take over from 7.00p.m. for everyone to dance the night away.
Proceeds from the event are expected to be used to support the Emergency Ward with medical equipment such as patient monitors, digital defibrillators, portal ultra sound machines and incubators.
“The Homecoming Group is all about developing Keta and seeking the welfare of its people," said Sui Fiawoo, the Homecoming Group chairman.
With special delicacies from the Volta Region in abundance at the traditional food bazaar, it is hoped guests at the charity event would have a good time and willingly donate to support the Keta Hospital.
