Veteran musician Jewel Ackah has died

Veteran musician Jewel Ackah has died aged 73.

The sensational musician, who is a known supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), passed away on Friday, April 27.

He was known to have been battling stroke and other sicknesses for about a decade.

Several personalities and groups, including an NDC group and Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of Zylofon Media, had made donations for the veteran musician's upkeep and medical care.

Jewel Ackah is known for composing the anthem of the NDC.
